About the Exhibition
The Gilda Snowden Memorial Exhibition is one of the longest-running juried exhibitions in Michigan, celebrating creativity of concept, excellence of design, and expertise of media. Named in honor of the late Gilda Snowden—an influential Detroit artist, educator, and mentor—this show is a tribute to artistic innovation and mastery. It’s an incredible honor to have my work included alongside so many talented artists who push the boundaries of their craft.
About By the Sea
My featured painting, By the Sea, embodies the sense of vastness and movement found in large bodies of water. The piece is a reflection of my love for natural landscapes, where water meets the shore and creates a world of infinite depth. This painting holds a personal significance for me, and I’m excited to see how it resonates with viewers in this exhibition.
